DCN Welcome Letter

Welcome to the DCN weight loss group. At these meetings you will get important information on how to lose weight and keep it off. We’re all in this together and it is important that you not miss any meetings. As a matter of fact, your weight loss will be greater if you come every week. Your fellow members need you to be at these meetings to encourage them along as they encourage you along.

We will show you how to count and record calories on the DCN calorie sheet. By following a daily calorie budget you will find that loosing weight has never been easier. It may seem difficult in the beginning but you will become a pro in no time at all. Stick it out and see what happens.

At your first meeting you can expect to get weighed in and be given your daily calorie countdown. We will determine together your weight loss goals that you want to achieve and start you off on how to accomplish this. Remember, this is a step by step process and missing a weekly meeting can hinder your weight loss, especially in the beginning. You should make a point of coming to the first 5-6 meetings without fail.
